Oy Patrol Ab was established in 1989 by Peder Planting. From day one, the company has focused on distributing innovative sporting goods, including brands like Asics, Scott, Swix and Brico. With almost 40 years of industry experience, the company has developed excellent know-how in sports business, established strong distribution and export channels, and built a global network. With a committed team and financial stability, Patrol is recognized as a reliable partner in the industry.
In 2014, the current owners acquired the oldest ski wax brand, Vauhti. Today Company has a modern production facility in Tohmajärvi, Finland. Where the production, research and development is lead by CTO PhD Esa Puukilainen co-operating with University of Joensuu. Vauhti ski waxes are exported to 24 countries and are renowned for their environmentally friendly products. In addition to manufacturing and exporting ski waxes, Patrol serves as the distributor for Fischer, Oneway, and Brooks in Finland and the Baltic countries (OneWay also in Sweden).
